About PCI Nylon
The PCI Consulting Group was founded in the UK in 1988 by four associates from industry and consultancy, specialising in the study of the markets for synthetic fibres, their feedstocks and related plastics. The Group focuses on both multi-client market research studies (monthly and annual subscription reports), as well as providing a range of single-client studies.
PCI has been supporting clients with research and analysis in the nylon area since the Group's inception in 1988. These activities were originally managed as part of the PCI Fibres consulting practice but, as the importance of non-fibre applications for nylon have grown, PCI decided to separate these areas and make nylon a stand-alone practice. PCI Nylon was formed in 2004 in order to give a unique focus to the study of the entire global nylon manufacturing chain from petrochemical feedstocks, through intermediate chemicals and polymers and into end-use markets. Uniquely, PCI Nylon's singular focus is the global polyamide industry as an integrated entity.
